The Brute is a 2012 Ford F350, with following specifications:
- Max 11,500 lbs GVWR
- Lariat, Crew Cab
- 4 x 2 SRW
- Airlift 5000 Air Bags and on-board compressor
- Spray-in bed liner
- Reese 25K Elite hitch with Ford prep
The Redwood loads even this truck to the maximum – we are within 100 lbs of max load on rear axle. So, a new F350 dually or F450 is on the horizon in 2016 or 2017, when we return from the World Cruise.
March 2015 – New 2016 F350 dually ordered for delivery in December, when we return from the World Cruise.
August 2021 – New 2022 F-450 King Ranch ordered, with delivery hoped for early in the New Year. Actual delivery May 2022.

Hi Robin – You made it home safely. We are certainly missing you on board. The other day when walking on the treadmill, I saw a manta ray/sting ray jump out the water and do a twirl before landing. Also got a couple of photos of a bird chasing a flying fish.
Oriana was my favourite ship, having sailed on her twice – October 77 to April 78 and then again in October 78.
