Today should have been a really easy day, with a short 200 mile hop down the coast to stay with friends in Plymouth, Massachusetts. But, we have to drive through the centre of Boston, and our kids tell us Vancouver has a major hockey rivalry going on with that city. Should we cover up our British Columbia plates on the front and back???

We departed Quebec City and continued our journey East, and today will be a big day as we finally reach the ocean, after 6 weeks of crossing mountains and prairie. Regardless of the fact we are over 4,000 miles from Vancouver, on reaching the ocean it will feel great to be “home”. Today is another 300+ mile drive and a long weekend, so we wanted to be on the road fairly early to get out of Quebec City before the motorway got too busy.
Ottawa and Quebec City got cancelled yesterday, so now we wait for the appointment at the dealer on Wednesday, but on the bright side, today we head down to spend a few days at the spectacular Niagara Falls. Ottawa and Quebec City or Niagara Falls, which one would you pick?
