Washed out yesterday, we wanted to see as much of the North Central Coast, as is possible in 1 day, so we were up early and on the road by 09:00. On departing the campground we turned left and headed along Hwy # 1 to Charlottetown, where we continued NE on Hwy # 2, turning onto Hwy # 6 for the North Coast. It may be a small island, but it still took well over an hour to reach the North Coast.

Nova Scotia – Finally!!! West Coast to East Coast in 6 Weeks
OMG what a day, due to a calamity of navigation errors, which weren’t helped by the fact Andy wasn’t in the “pink of condition” or “fine fettle”, since he was suffering from a touch of food poisoning from the lousy lunch yesterday. In fairness to Judi, she did suggest holding off for a day, but Andy with typical stiff upper lip, damn the torpedoes, onward into battle, “I can make it, it’s only a short hop”. His one concession being nor completing his usual hoovering and dusting before bringing the slides in.
PEI – Weather Changes
Confederation Bridge – 8 miles Between New Brunswick to PEI
Although we only spent 2 nights in the really pleasant town of Dalhousie, New Brunswick, it was with regrets that we departed and set course for Prince Edward Island, crossing the 8 mile long Confederation Bridge. Dalhousie has lost all their industry over the last few years, but the people have kept their heads high, and are super friendly.
